He was a member of the Attorney General’s Office (AGU) — the federal government’s legal body directly linked to the Presidency of the Republic — between 1999 and 2002.
As General Counsel for the Union, he played a central role in advising the government on the formulation of the new regulation and the new electricity sector law.
In 2002, he began his private practice at Wald Advogados in São Paulo, and in 2009, he founded his own firm, Serrão Advogados.
His trajectory is continuously recognized by major Brazilian companies, who describe him as “an experienced energy specialist and a reference in the sector”.
